6" of our certified organic rubber with organic wool quilted between 2 layers of organic cotton.
This PureRest mattress is 6" thick and meets all safety requirements set forth by the CPSC. It features an inner wool layer quilted to the organic cotton outer for natural flame retardancy to meet federal guidelines. Inside is a 4" natural rubber core. The natural rubber is firmer and more supportive than other natural type mattresses and has no chemical additives. Wool is used as a natural flame retardant, for its natural water-resistance, natural bacterial resistance and dust mite control properties. Our organic cotton is long staple and hand picked. Our pure wool is sheared off healthy, happy organically raised sheep. These high quality materials are what set our mattresses apart from the less quality mattresses made from inferior cottons and wools.
