My Goodness Duds© and Ecobaby® clothing are sized with two considerations: fabric shrinkage and growing room.  Organic cottons are modestly processed, so they might shrink more than what you might expect if placed in the dryer.  We recommend you turn your garment inside out and either hand wash or put on a delicate cycle to preserve the artwork.  Tumble dry on low or hang to dry for best results.  Sizing is generous to allow baby/child to wear garment at least thru the end of the size range.  For example, if your baby is of average HEIGHT, he/she will fit in the 6-12 month size until 12 months old or longer.
